Great value bet on Saturday in the feature race at Aqueduct. It's race 8, a stakes for older fillies and mares. My pick is Victory Encounter, the #4 horse. She's a California ship-in facing a very mediocre bunch of New York-based horses. Trainer John Sadler rarely ships, but when he does it's with a purpose---he just won the $2 million sprint race in Dubai with a longshot from California.

Victory Encounter has shown the ability to run both on the pace and close from far behind. She meets a suspect field and is only a modest 5-1 on the Morning line.

just a case of tough luck , I watched the race on the drf video and it was just a case of getting trapped ( or boxed ) in my opinion and if you play this game you have to know that the best horse doesnt always win.

Keep up the insight and chin up as well , we need all we can get if we are to get over the hump !
