Yan Bingtao – The 17 year old continues his stunning progression up the rankings coming through the toughest quarter of the draw with incredible wins over Ronnie O’Sullivan & John Higgins. We tipped him for the last tournament @ 150/1 so hopefully a few kept the faith in the recent promise he has shown.

Another great challenge for the young hot-shot here as he plays the more experienced Allen. We expect another high quality match as we have seen from these pair all tournament. Whilst Allen looked good in coming through a final frame decider in his Quarter-final match against Judd Trump, we can’t look past the highly impressive 17 year old Yan Bingtao. He has breezed through O’Sullivan and Higgins with a combined frame score of 12-3! At 11/10 he represents fantastic value to beat Mark and make it to the final.

In an odd sense this match, between two players struggling to keep there careers going, could be the match of the day so said a good "friend of mine" in the following quote:
"Both players won one game in less than half of their matches. Jones just came through the grind of Q school. If we don't count those games, he has only won 2 pro games this season which were against Xiwen and a struggling Maflin. Mann has been very inconsistent this season as his only run this season suddenly was a semi final at the Paul Hunter Classic. He hasn't made it past the last 64 stage in any other tournament this season, but neither has Jones. I think Mann is the better player here. He has won their only meeting in 2012 Q school 4-1 but that really doesn't come into play here in well almost 2018. Mann just is the better player in my opinion."
