Do you go too Oaklawn much? I've lived here in Central Arkansas for 20 years and have only been 2 or 3 times.

to answer your question, no i dont go to often but would like to go more, its a good time. And you cant beat the food prices.

My fiancee and her family have a place in Hot Springs. It's a 4 hour drive from Berryville, but I make it to Oaklawn about 3 or 4 times a year. Her dad is there every other weekend. It's a great place with good view and plenty of excitement. I definitely recommend for everyone to make at least one trip there.

I do bet when I go there. But very little b/c I don't put much research into the races. Her dad handicapps the races and does decent. I probably won't make it there till president's day weekend. That's a pretty big weekend down there with races Friday thru Monday with the big Martha Washington on Monday.
