Time to start a new year of horse selections, after a 2013 for the ages. I defy anyone who publicly post race picks to top my long-term ROI. There's a reason horse handicappers never disclose their bet wins and losses. Virtually all succumb to the awful takeouts. I'm still way in the profit zone through four years of posting plays here. Let's hope 2014 will also be in the black, although a repeat of last year would be a stretch.
