  • How do you guys play your pick 3's

I had some pretty good success last weekend.

Play $1 pick 3. Take 3 horses in 1st leg 2 horses in 2nd and 3 horses in last leg. Cost 18 bucks. I hit 3 on Saturday. 1 paid over 200. Do you think thats a smart risk tho?

It totally depends on each race itself. If you have a stud racing in the 2nd race and you are seeing a wide open 3rd race then the first race u like 2 horses then play it

            5,6
            3
            All

Of course making those numbers up but u are making a big mistake going into it limiting yourself to a specific number of horses each race.Someth races you might have 2 horses that are way ahead of the field would be crazy to list 3 horses in the bet just because that's how u were playing your ticket.I played last week 1 horse race 1 and 1 horse race 2 and the field race 3 my ticket looked like this

            5
            2
            All

            was only an $18 ticket
