With a little over 2 weeks until the Kentucky Derby,m any thoughts.
Mine, This year is tough. I really dont see a standout this field is probably the best in years.
Mine That Bird and Giacamo were 50-1 winners that shocked everyone, I wouldn't be surprosed if a 50-1 won this years race.
Pace makes the race. There is a ton of speed, Take Charge Indy (who i loved in the Florida Derby), Hansen, Daddy Long legs could get cought in speed dual with a few others.
Closers I'm Leaning:
Alpha: Slammed into the rail twice before the turn and closed in the wood to lose by 1/2 length
Daddy Nose Best: Dark Horse that no one is talking about. Long Lay off though
Mark Veleski: Lost the illinois derby to a horse that won with an 88 beyer, but if he can get in (#21 on the list), with enough pace may be able to get there.
Sabercat: Closed well to finish 4th in the Ark Drby
