I took my first skunking in weeks here as all three horses ran off the board last Saturday. Will try to bounce back today:

Pimlico Race 12 Gr. 1 Preakness
Bet $8 to win place and show on #11 Animal Kingdom (2-1)
Bet $8 to win place and show on #6 Sway Away (15-1)
$2 exacta box 6-11

(I won't count it in my record as it's not as strong a play but I'll also be using Midnight Interlude and Dialed In with my top two in a trifecta and superfecta.)

hangover is going to be a good one,he was rank and wild as hell going in the gate and then went super wide and still won pretty easy-nice capping brother.

I ground out a small profit with two wins and a second, plus an off board. The Delaware winner, however, paid peanuts as six horses scratched after the race came off the turf and show betting was eliminated.

Snow Fall won, paying 4.40 and 2.40
Hangover Kid won, paying, 6.20, 3.90 and 3.00
Animal Kingdom just missed, paying 4.20 to place and 3.60 to show.
Sway Away stunk.

Too bad about Animal Kingdom because he is good enough to have been a Triple Crown winner. Another explosive finish but the race was just too short. Had he won, the Belmont would have been his for the taking. American dirt horses just don't run faster at the end of their races than the beginning; he's a freak.
