Vols, if we put both of our picks in the 4th for an exacta, we could have collected 270.00 for it.

I am starting to find value in show pool betting. I have been experimenting with just playing the show pool. I find a 5-1 hope the fav is off get $4.00 double my money. On occation in pays $5 or $6. If I like a 10-1 or greater I get $7-$8. I am thinking about nickel and dime it rather than big score.

I will have to look into this a little too. I would think that smaller tiered tracks would offer more value since most just plunk down on favs all the time. If I'm at an outlet and I see Harness racing with 1/9 favs, I'll take 3 or 4 horses and put show money on them and you'd be surprised at how many times those 1/9's dont hit the board and the show payouts are outrageous.
