Basically the Kentucky Derby isn’t your typical horse race. By betting both daily doubles the way I did, I am attempting to take advantage of the statistical anomalies associated with this race and the different type of pari-mutuel bets that can be made. Essentially, one could win a lot of money with long shot winning races.

Daily Double Race 10-11
180 combinations (all horses)
$2 on the 2 favorites of Race 10 (M/L Favorite 3&8) with Race 11 ALL Horses
$1 on the rest of the Race 10 field with Race 11 ALL Horses

Daily Double Race 11-12 (Box)
240 combinations (all horses)
$2 on 2 favorites of Race 12 (M/L Favorite 8 &11) with ALL horses of Race 11
$1 on the rest of Race 12 field with Race 11 ALL horses

A couple things with my theory
For Daily Double Race 10-11 go with the 2 betting favorites according to the tote board (betting public)

For Daily Double Race 11-12 go with the “Book Favorite (Morning Line)” as the two horses

Most importantly everything is “boxed”

If there are scratches bet accordingly

$1: 2 favorites of Race 10 With ALL Horses for Race 11 and 2 favorites Race 12
