watch the replay of pletchers horse "take the points" ridden bye edgar prado,the horse they said he interfered with had no chance in the race and clipped heels with another horse- AND THEY WONDER WHY THE PUBLIC IS TURNING AWAY FROM THE TRACK-THIS STUFF HAS TO BE CLEANED UP IF THE HORSE RACING INDUSTRY HAS ANY CHANCE OF SURVIVING THIS BAD ECONOMY !!

guys i am a big horse racing fan,the florida stewards are the worst ever,saw another deal like that at calder a few years back when a horse barely nudged another horse 50 yards out of the gate-ITS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE AND CAN TURN A HORSE RACING FAN INTO A CASINO FAN !!

Outside of the Breeders Cup and the Triple Crown horse racing draws little interest from the public. With the economy so bad its not a place many want to spend their time or money. It's too bad. Although Del Mar has done well the past few summers. Really a lot of blame can be put on the entire Horse Racing organization. It's poorly ran IMO.

i agree buddy saw that and thought no big deal as well.Funny thing is other day me and celtics 86 was watching this race and the favorite banged every horse on the track and 3 different horses had an inquiry against him and they still did not take him off the board.Its almost like they figure out the rake and which one they will make most off of thier cut and choose that outcome.

Some casinos in this area of Oklahoma used to have OTB. I don't know of any that still do...maybe Remington Park but they're actually a race track that had to add a casino to stay in business. I haven't been there in many years.

tech they take a percentage off the rake just like in poker so it really does not matter to them who wins unlesss they have some bets down themselves but regardless i am like you-they do their job very inconsistently and rarely in a graded race will they call a dq unless its flagrant-i feel sorry for the trainer-pletcher and jockey-prado // WHAT A RIP-OFF,NOT TO MENTION HOW THE OWNER OF THE HORSE FEELS,I THINK 1ST PLACE IN THAT RACE WAS 150 LARGE !!

guys if any of you think i am pissed for losing my bet,i had 3 little dollars across,might have cost me 27 bucks-BIG DEAL // WATCH THIS RACE-IT WAS ONE OF THE WORST DQ'S I HAVE EVER SEEN // THE ONE AT CALDER WAS MY #1 BUT THAT WAS LIKE 12 YEARS AGO AND UNLESS I LUCKED UP ON IT-WOULD NEVER REMEMBER THE RACE !!

THE ONE AT CALDER cost me a 3 dime pick 3,i had 16 bucks invested in the ticket,the horse nudges another horse coming out of the gate // watch them come out of the gate in the ky derby-it looks LIKE MMA-LOL !!

i don't know batters up,look when you go to the track,how many young people do you see,another 15 years and the old guys you see are not going to be there,plus the slots and casinos are so much more lucrative !! !! ps-but hey brother,that was not the purpose of this thread-i love the ponies,hope its here for a long time,just got off on a tangent,but realistically-racing is at a bad place right now-the worst i have ever seen it !!
