  • One Big Longshot---Saturday Dec. 26

The key to playing the Santa Anita main track in the fall meet, expecially the Breeders Cup races, is to understand the "Pro-Ride" synthetic track is really a TURF COURSE. This helped me make a fortune Breeders Cup weekend.

With that in mind, I've got a longshot in the Grade 1 Malibu, 7 furlongs on the main course for three yearlds:

    Santa Anita Race 9
    Play #2 Kinsella

This is a lightly raced grass horse who gets to close into a ton of speed. Speed just died on the pro-ride in the fall meet. Trained by Pletcher, ridden by Gomez. 12-1 on the morning line!! No way he'll go off at that price, but 8-1 is possible and a steal.

    Bombs away/

Thanks gris, I will be sure to pull into the OTB while on my route tomorrow. How are you playing it?
Nothing is as far away as one minute ago.

I'd play the horse at equal amounts to win, place, show.
Use in exactas over and under 5, 9, 10, 12

I'm playing the Kinsella race at three times the amount all of the other bets except one.

I'm also playing the Hawthorne Race 5 play as big as Kinsella.

I cap all synth tracks like it's a turf race. I love turf to synth angle. If not for zenyatta I make a fortune on gio ponte. How did this horse do. I haven't looked. Hope it hit. Gonna go check now.

                Good luck in future wagers
                Good Luck to everyone

Richie: [after Gus hits a homerun] Wow and he did it without steroids.
                Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!

Ran poorly......tried to press the pace....totally opposite of my expectation......faded in stretch.
