If more than 14 enter, (entries are taken Wednesday morning), Rachel Alexandra will be EXCLUDED.

She was not nominated and would have to be supplemented. Preakness rules give preference to any nominated horse over any supplement.

If she runs, she'll be favored and will go off at leass than 2-1. You guys really should watch a video of the Oaks (it's all over youtube)

I think she's be over bet. Great race in the Oaks but against very weak fillies. Main compition in the oaks was scratched.

I'll have a ticket with her on top, but not gonna get to crazy. I still Like Papa Clem, Musket Man, and PionroftheNile.
        Good Luck to everyone

Richie: [after Gus hits a homerun] Wow and he did it without steroids.
        Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!

Ownerof Zayat Stables is on the phone with TVG.

he says the owner of Mind My Bird contacted him into trying to keep RA out.

2 Reassons to keep RA out

                    1. Feels RA shouldn't even come back after 2 weeeks

                    2. Feels that it's disrecpetful for Borel to jump off mind my bird.

                    3. Feels it is in the best interest of the industry to keep her out.

                    4. Thinks that if she were to run, she should run in Belmont instead, industry doesn't need another 8 Bells and feels there might be b/c fillies aren't conditioned to run 2 weeks back in a race like this.

There's more to it that I can't explain you need to somehow try to get this interview.

I dont think there is a limit like the Preakness. I think the only reason the field is limited to 14 in the Preakness is because the track width is small.

                          Read this from Belmont:

There has never been a walkover in the Belmont, but five times - in 1887, 1888, 1892, 1910 and in Man O' War's year, 1920 - there were only two starters.

The largest field ever to compete in the Belmont was 15 in 1983 when Caveat defeated Slew O' Gold by 3 1/2 lengths. The second largest field was 14 in 1875 when Calvin beat Aristides, a stablemate who that year won the inaugural edition of the Kentucky Derby.

In 1996, a field of 14 went to the post with Editor's Note the winner.

I'm sure Belmont field can be as much as 20 horses

14 is also the limit in the belmont that's the max the gate will hold
