With a bunch of horses running only on poly track and no form on dirt makes handicapping even more difficult. So I'm throwing out all horses that haven't ran on dirt.
I like Dunkirk. He ran a 108 Beyer in a losing effort against Quality Road in the Florida Derby. The move he made in that race would have smoked every horse in this field I believe. Quality Road is out with quarter crack issues, but he would have been an easy favorite and the probable winner if he was healthy. Pletcher is 0 for 20 something with Derby horses and I believe this is his best chance yet to get to the winners' circle and he will. Gomez made a bad move in taking Pioneer Of The Nile over Dunkirk.
