I haven't had any horse plays in awhile. Let's go of after three longshots on a great Saturday card at Keeneland.
Keeneland Race 5 Gr. 3 Phoenix Stakes Play #7 Ravalo
Bet $25 to win and place
My horse has hit the board in five of six races this year and all were stakes. He has a nice closing style that should play well at Keeneland but most importantly.....in four races on synthetic surfaces he has THREE WINS AND A SECOND!
Keeneland Race 7 Gr. 1 Breeders Futurity Play #4 His Greatness
Bet $25 to win and place
This one won his career debut at Arlington and ran credibly last out in the Arlington Washington Futurity. I look for his best effort in his third career start in a very weak Grade 1 field.
Keeneland Race 8 Gr. 1 Shadwell Turf Mile Play #5 Lord Admiral
Bet $45 to win and place
Bet $5 exacta box #5 with #2 Kingship
This is a strong play. My horse has been faciong the best grass horses in Europe and Dubai and drops into meet much inferior American grass milers. He runs his best races on firm turf and that's exactly what he'll get at Keenalnd. This horse has been close to Jay Peg and Archipenko this year, either of which would crush this field. The owner is arguably the most brilliant horseman the world has seen in the last 75 years. The horse is trained by his son. I suspect this race is a test to see if he's ready for the Breeders Cup Mile. Don't bet against these guys.
