Struck out yesterday. Broke one of my rules in playing 1st timers in a Maiden claiming race. They win all the time in Maiden SPWT races but not in claiming.
Race 6
Maiden Route race with most of the field not showing much. #3 El Spaniard drops, adds lasix, switches surfaces, and stretches out for the 37% Valdivia/Ellis team. Barn 19% 1st route and 20% 2nd timers. #6 Spartan Fortitude adds lasix and blinkers but realy hasn't show much in 2 career starts. Will try to use a dutch wagering strategy to make $20 of profit if one of these is a winner.
