This is a Grade 3 1-1/8 mile grass stakes for older fillies and mares. My pick was one of the top three-year old grass filiies in California last year and should be primed for a top effort in her second start of the year. Prado rides for Michael Matz. While big name horse Rutherienne will be favored, the horse I'm most afraid of is lone speed #4 Eclisse, a Calder shipper. Valbenny has a big late kick, however, and should get up in time at about 7-2. (Consider a small exacta box with #4 but the win-place bet will be the only one I count in my record).
