I've already posted a $100 future bet on Visionaire at +3050 to win the Derby. I'm adding a couple of other Derby wagers and plays from three other races today.

Bet $25 to win and place
This horse is 10-for-12 lifetime win or place making her perfect for this type of bet. She's emerged as a solid horse in her four year old campaign and is coming off wins in two smaller stakes. All of her better known rivals are either turning back, coming off layoffs or off form. This a good shot to go for an upset.

Bet $20 to place and show on Visionaire
Bet $20 to win and place on Z Fortune

I've listed my reasons for Visionaire in another thread. I'm adding a place and show bet as he's a deep closer and want some insurance for a good performance that isn't a win. Z Fortune has been overlooked because trainer Asmussen has Pyro but this horse is the one in form and just missed in the Arkansas Derby despite a very wide trip.

Bet $50 to win and place
While all the drunks are slamming their last mint juleps, I intend to score in a maiden race that closes the Derby card. This horse has been competitive in three starts and is fast enough to stay close to the pace in a race where the frontrunners show histories of quitting. Big jockey switch to Albarado. Might get 8-1. (This is my best bet of the day)

Bet $25 to win and place
Another maiden race at the end of a very long day. My horse stretches to a mile in its second career start after a debut that looks like nothing but a prep. Good breeding for the stretchout.
