Going to play one longshot each day on the Southern California Circuit for the next month and see how I do. Each play will be $5 to win and $10 to place. Will post a horse each racing day in this thread.

Trainer Walther Salis usually fires with 1st timers. Good news is the horse breaks from the outside post which is always a plus from a horse making its first start.

If you play a 2-4-8 format, if the horse finishes 3rd you need it to pay $3.50 to break even, most longshots pay at least that when finishing 3rd. It's a save bet.

Had a super wide trip last out (6 wide). Made a nice late run down the stretch to finish 4th. May have scored if not for the bad trip. The race is better than the beyers indicate.
