  • Rook's Horses for Tuesday

OK...finished the spreadsheet and I think I can safely assume which tracks that I have done well in and what I haven't. I've got 9 tracks that show a profit, although Great Lakes finishes their meet today and Oaktree finished yesterday, so we'll go with 7. I will post those full cards when they are running.

    Philly
    1) #2, 4
    2) #1
    3) #1
    4) #7 (6,7/6,7/1,2,4,5 tri)
    5) #1, 4, 5 WP only and (1,4/1,4/2,3,5,7 tri)
    6) pass
    7) #1, 3, 5
    8) pass
    9) #1
    10) #1, 3

    Great Lakes
    1) #10
    2) #3, 5
    3) #2, 3
    4) #1, 4
    5) #3
    6) #2, 7, 9
    7) #3
    8) pass
    9) 1,2/1,2/3,5,7,8 tri
    10) #7 (1,7/1,7/2,3,5,6 tri)
    11) #5, 7
    12) #1, 4, 6

    Best of the rest.....

Churchill....have not had a winning day here yet. proceede with caution
    1) #6,8 (6,8/6,8/2,3,4,5)
    2) #7, 15
    4) #9, 13
    5) #8

Churchill is tuff John, it always seems to get the best of my boss.

    Good luck

Boss also said that he wondered why you liked Calder, he said the payouts on the tri's down there tended to be not that appealing.

He isnt the type to ever post here, but believe me he knows more about horses and racing than anyone i have ever met.

I'll be honest....I've got a system with horses and I stick to that system as far as the WPS go....And a good friend got me with a great system on the Trifectas....and I just go from track to track and if a horses meets the critera of the system, I put it down and bet it. After three weeks of tracking I think I can see where this system works and where it doesn't. I'm really glad it works at tracks like Meadowland, Philly and Los Alimitos cause those tracks run all year long. Calder isn't consistant....but it's popping up some big numbers from time to time to show the profit in the end. Philly and Meadowlands are the two tracks right now that are the most consistantly good for me.

Tracks like Churchill, Aqueduct, Hawthorn are tracks that I really like, that are very appealing, and I like to bet those. I just hope to figure some different ways to do it. I'm pretty sure that when the Big A goes to the inner track things will change for me. I did really well there last year the deeper the meet went.

Hawthorn is like a home town track, and talking with Nex, he's given me some tips there. So I'm stubborn to that track...lol.

I'm beginning to get extreamely serious with this...and i'm determined to find a way to make myself and the guys here some money.

Mike told me that the inner track at Aqueduct is brutal. Keep working at it Rook, its nice to see the passion trying to win money at this. More gamblers should lool closer at this form of wagering, much less at risk money and a lot more reward.

It has taken me 20 years of gambling to figure that out. Many follow a horse and it gets shoved and they say fuck that, well trust me there is a lot more money to be made at the track than there is at the sportsbook

Tell Mike to be on the lookout for BillMill when they get to the inner track...he is flat out MONEY there. The only reason I was successful there last year was listening to him.

I figured I was serious with this stuff when I was watching TVG last night and MNF during commercials. LOL
