Well hit this race last year large. As I have said before LOVE the pools in these big races. But this year I meet up against an issue. I can't get away from the chalk. The 8, 7, 4 and 3 all seem to be the class of this race. All kinds of money will be flowing into exacta and tri pools on each of these. The public saying 'Street Sense for triple crown', 'Street Sense got a perfect trip, watch out for Circular Quay', 'Curlin matured in that last race, with a smaller group he takes it', 'Hard Spuns track, Pino knows every inch'. Most of the time this is why money is to be had in these races, this time I can't disagree.

    Here are the boring tickets:

    $1 Superfecta BOX ($144)

8 with 7 with 4 with ALL - Just in case one sneaks in on the popular group, AND I don't have to care how they finish

    $2 Exacta ($48)

2/6/7 with ALL - Hey maybe the speed holds ahead of the great ones.

    $2 Exacta BOX ($32)

3 with ALL - Pace is hot and heavy and CQ picks up the pieces, what is left I don't care.

    $2 Tri BOX ($48)

3/4/7/8 - Have to take it

    $15 WPS ($45)

6 - Interesting longshot for me

I broke about even with Curlin across the board and exacta.
Most of money was wiped out with other losing combinations though.
Basically, I played Curlin because George CARLIN is my favorite comedian.
