Santa Anita's 6th brings out an interesting cast of characters. Jeff Mullins sends the soft entry of #2 Scoonerwarfbardog and #3 High Mandate. It looks as though he will use #3 High Mandate as the rabbit to eliminate the early speed types and then bring #2 Scoonerwarfbardog later as a closer. #3 High Mandate will have to be caught. I don't think he's got enough stamina to take the win, but with a Mullins runner you never know. #9 Holy Lark has high speed figs, although they have been earned on dirt. #6 Sidepocket Cat is the better half of a Donald Warren soft entry. Serious intent may be present there.
