Do horses tend to run better or worse under FTL? Or is there any difference at all?

By itself, it is not an indicator. Most horses that have never raced are usually FTL. But if you have a horse that has raced before without it, and is now getting it for the first time, I like that angle. Also used in conjunction with trainer/jock angles (Race 2 Contessa with Coa with FTL) not a bad play.

I'm getting more and more into horse racing and am trying to learn a little more anytime possible and I like learning from someone who is very knowledgeable. No problem KB, a lot of folks also look at horses who are having blinkers on or off as another angle (once again not on its own merit but with other information)

For a good idea of a horse I like with FTL, look at the #9 in the 9th.
