Beginners question for the vets

Looking at the sheets for the first time and trying to decifer them....


What is the most important thing that you look at...or maybe a top 3.

Speed
Class
Form
Last
Conn
Line
total


When you see a horse that has a class that is more then 50 points more then all the rest...is that a no brainer to play?

I don't understand the "Last" column...here is the definition I got.

"A summary of several of the above scores but it only looks at races run in the last 45 days. this score is useful in spotting horses coming off a layoff, or coming off a significant effort"

does that mean that If I see a 0 on there...the horse hasn't run in the last 45 days and it's probably best to lay off? and if a big score say a 15 or higher then the horse has done well the last 45 days?


Sorry if these are stupid...but i'm just trying to pick the brains of those that are a lot more knowledable.

Speed- Great movie about a runaway bus starting keanu reeves and sandra bullock

Class- something i avoided going to while at college....now i'm stuck here in my cube!!!!!

Form- bettorstalk.com right monte???

Last- place Notre Dame sports typically finishes in every year

Line- Something women stand in while waiting to go to the bathroom. Fuckin' A thank god i'm a man. laugh every damn time!!!!!

Total- all of the above smushed together!!!
