Race 6 only has 3 horses available...the rest have been scratched.
Would it not be profitable to just bet a unit on each horse to win?
Correct me if I'm wrong, which I probably am and I know I'll hear about it from Bill , but I think the racetracks pool off the money that is bet on the horses after taking a house fee. With those other horses scratched, it takes away the percentage of money being bet on the other horses since obviously the other horses aren't running, and lower the odds of the horses that are running and the percentage you would win. Don't know if it makes much sense but hell I'm just learning

i'm just wondering if it's like hedgeing so to speak...it might not be the big payout...but I would think that you'd profit something.
Well sorry for the performance here, don't know much about this track, but will try to learn. As far as hedging and equal odds on three horse races, this is not exactly the case, but having only win wagers the odds on the three will be very close, thus a hedge really wouldn't work. If you bet $2 on each horse you will return less then $6 so the best bet missed by me would have been to take the coupled entry of 1/1A.

LOL...I ended up losing $1 off the $10 bet on each horse!
