SPA recent trends

I was at SPA last friday through Monday. Here is what I saw., early speed was a killer on the dirt, both long and short. Early speed on turf going short was tough too. Stalkers/closers were ok going long on the turf. Overall, horses going 22.2 and 45 for the half, werent being caught! Have to assumme fast and firm today there too. Good luck to all!
