    • Tuesday’s 6-pack

      Pac-12 South football standings:

      Arizona State 4-3

      USC 4-3

      Utah 4-3

      Arizona State 3-3

      Colorado 2-4

      UCLA 2-4

Not a great year for the Pac-12 South

      Quote of the Day
“We haven’t spent a lot of time focused on [Bell being gone] because it’s not within our control. Those decisions are Le’Veon’s. We need volunteers, not hostages, so we’re focused on the guys who are here and working and James [Conner] is definitely in that mix.”
      Steelers coach Mike Tomlin

      Tuesday’s quiz
Who played QB for the Dallas Cowboys the first time they played in a Super Bowl?

      Monday’s quiz
The second Super Bowl was played at the Orange Bowl, in Miami.

      Sunday’s quiz
Chad Kelly holds the single season record for passing yards at Ole Miss, with 4,042.

Tuesday’s List of 13: Happy Election Day– go vote!!!!

      13) Today is Election Day; please go vote, if you already haven’t done so. Its our job as American citizens to go and make our voices heard- its one of the great parts of living in a democracy. Plus, sometimes they have bake sales at polling places so you can get fairly cheap cupcakes or donuts.

Go vote!!! (After you read the rest of this……)

      12) There is a TV program on WeTV called “Love After Lockup”; it is described this way:

“Couples meet their potential future spouses for the first time once the bars are removed from the relationship.” In other words, once the future spouse gets out of jail.

      What could possibly go wrong?

      11) Friday night in the CFL, after Ottawa scored a TD to grab a 23-9 lead with 0:59 left in the 3rd quarter, an Ottawa offensive lineman went to the front row of the stands, grabbed a can of beer from a fan, and chugged the beer— during the game!!!!

When I saw the clip, I figured it was just before the end of the game, but it wasn’t. Yikes.

      10) There is a dog walking app called WAG; you pay someone to walk your dog for you. They get the keys to your house, they walk little Scruffy around the block, you can follow their progress on the app, and everyone is happy.

In this day and age, if you think I’m giving the keys to my freakin’ house to some stranger who walks dogs for a living, then you’re bleepin’ goofy. There isn’t anything all that valuable here, but it is valuable to me. I’d get the dog a treadmill like George Jetson before I paid someone.

      9) Sig Mejdal is a former NASA engineer and blackjack dealer who worked on the analytical team that helped the Houston Astros win the World Series LY; he’s let his contract with the Astros run out and will now look for another job.

NASA engineer and blackjack dealer? Sounds like an interesting guy.

      8) I’m not a big Tom Cruise fan, but his best movie (in my opinion) by far is A Few Good Men, with Risky Business 2nd, and then probably Cocktail.

The scene where Jack Nicholson testifies in court: “You can’t handle the truth!!!!” is still one of my favorite movie scenes ever.

      7) ESPN’s Mike Breen had a tremendous euphemism as he tried to gently rip the Washington Wizards in their loss Friday night: “…….just a lack of consistent intensity”

Oklahoma City had 110 points AFTER THE 3RD QUARTER; Wizards weren’t trying real hard, which is why they’re 2-7 this season.

      6) Mark Jackson told a neat story during the Wolves-Warriors game Friday night; when he was coaching Golden State, Jackson brought college teammate Chris Mullen in to work with then-rookie Klay Thompson on footwork, how to use screens, stuff like that- it obviously helped.

When Thompson was playing at Washington State, you wouldn’t have figured him to be a star in the NBA, but he sure is now.

      5) “Its not who starts, its who finishes.” Lot of basketball coaches say that to subs who might have their feelings hurt when they come off the bench instead of starting.

Actions speak louder than words; JJ Redick hasn’t started a game yet for the 76ers, but he is 4th on the team in minutes played, second on team in shots taken and scoring (18.4 ppg). And his $12,250,000 salary (#3 on team) speaks pretty loudly, too.

      4) Arizona Cardinals cut QB Sam Bradford, who has earned roughly $129M in his football career, while accumulating a career record of 34-48-1. Arizona wound up paying him $13.5M and he only played three games for them. No bueno.

Bradford is better than any QB Buffalo has, but he’d last about 10 minutes behind that offensive line, thats 10 minutes of regular time, not game time.

Bradford had some success playing for Giants’ coach Pat Shurmur when Shurmur was OC up at Minnesota, so there are rumors Bradford could be heading to the Big Apple.

      3) A big reason of why college basketball has changed so much in the last decade; freshmen played 81.2% of Kentucky’s minutes last year- freshmen played 67.5% of Duke’s minutes.

In the last four seasons, of the 20 freshmen Kentucky had, 12 of them stayed only one year. 11 of Duke’s last 19 freshmen have left school after one season.

If you’re good enough to start for Kentucky/Duke, you probably already have one eye on the NBA, so it becomes difficult to tell who is invested in playing college ball and who is counting the minutes until they can bolt college and go to the NBA Combine.

      2) Average ticket prices and team payrolls this past baseball season:
Red Sox $206M payroll, $56.97 average ticket
Astros $172M payroll, $40.25 average ticket
Bronx Bombers $161M payroll, average ticket $47.62
Indians: $137M payroll, average ticket $30.04

      1) Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt hosted a 4-minute video last week urging all Americans to go vote on November 6th- it was a little odd seeing actors speak as themselves, we’re so used to seeing them play different roles.

But their point is valid— please go vote!!!!

            • This weeks NHL betting predictions and picks: Vegas' magic evaporated on road

The Golden Knights haven't had the same magic they did last season, especially on the road. Things won't get any easier when they visit the Maple Leafs on Tuesday night. We cover this game and much more in our NHL betting cheat sheet with need-to-know betting notes, goalie profiles and injury news to help you crack the NHL odds for the early week matchups.

              VEGAS ROAD SHOW

The Vegas Golden Knights have been terrible on the road this season, going just 2-5 in their first seven contests away from home with a -10-goal differential and face one of the league’s best home teams in the Toronto Maple Leafs Tuesday. Toronto is still loaded offensively even without Auston Matthews and they’ve been dominant against Western Conference opponents with an 11-4 mark in their last 15 games. The magic seems to be gone from the Golden Knights and on the road, they look pedestrian at best. Take the Leafs at home at a reasonable price.

              SINGING THE BLUES

The St. Louis Blues and Carolina Hurricanes are both in the midst of an early season swoon. While both teams need to focus on their defensive shortcomings, it leaves bettors in a nice position with the total as there is plenty of evidence to support another Over in this one. The Over is 5-0 in the last five for St. Louis and is 4-0 for the Hurricanes against a team with a losing record. Jake Allen and Scott Darling are expected to start in goal for their respective teams and both goaltenders have a sub .900 save percentage with a goals against average over 3.00. Take the Over on Tuesday night in St. Louis.

              SPECIAL TEAMS

The Sharks offense deserves a better fate as they rank 10th in the NHL in goals for but are in second in total shots per game as they continue to pepper opposing goaltenders. Minnesota meanwhile is 14th in shots per game and goals per game but on average they give up the 10th most shots per contest. Expect the goaltenders to be busy in their matchup as both teams have a knack for getting the puck towards goal and that’s a good sign for Over bettors. The Over is 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams in San Jose and Tuesday night adds to that trend.

              EXTRA ATTACKERS

The Oilers and Lightning meet up on Tuesday night as Connor McDavid and Steven Stamkos face off in Florida in a game many are expecting to go Over the number. The Oilers are hoping they can take advantage on the power play against a Lightning side that rarely gives up goals in bunches, but they’ll have to solve the leagues second best penalty killing unit. Edmonton is 20th in the NHL in goals for and while Tampa sits fourth in the league they will have to contend with Mikko Koskinen who has been playing ridiculously well of late for the Oilers. Stay conscious of special teams when wagering on this one.

              GOALIE PROFILE

Mikko Koskinen, Edmonton Oilers: Speaking of Koskinen, the 2009 Islanders draft pick is enjoying a resurgence with the Oilers after spending most of his career in the KHL. The Finnish national has been excellent playing in Russia as he has never had a GAA over 2.42 and while competition in the KHL is not at the level of the NHL it is still quite impressive. Koskinen is 3-0 for Edmonton and faces off with Andrei Vasilevskiy of Tampa Bay who has been exceptional since the beginning of last season. The Under is 6-2 in the last eight meetings between these two teams and Tuesday night is no different.

              INJURY UPDATE

The Canucks are expected to be without of their best players in Brock Boeser on Tuesday as he suffered a groin injury in Colorado over the weekend. Boeser has 11 points so far this season and that greatly hurts the offense of the Canucks who are currently ranked 11th in the NHL in goals for. The Wings meanwhile have the 25th ranked offense in the NHL and have trouble scoring against everyone which makes this a candidate for the Under.

              HAT TRICK TRENDS

The Oilers are winless in last six against Tampa Bay and the home team is 13-3 in last 16 meetings.
The Road team is 5-1 in last six meetings between Vancouver and Detroit. The Red Wings are 0-7 in last seven vs Pacific division opponents.
The Under is 9-0 in Toronto’s last nine games overall and 8-2 in Vegas’ last 10.

Steven Stamkos had a goal and two assists, and Brayden Point and Yanni Gourde also scored for the Lightning, who have the best record in the NHL at 11-3-1.

Edmonton got goals from Ryan Strome and Leon Draisaitl, and Mikko Koskinen stopped 30 shots. Connor McDavid was kept off the scoresheet for just the second time this season as his eight-game point streak ended (six goals, five assists).

TORONTO (AP) - Frederik Andersen made 36 saves to lift Toronto over Vegas.

Connor Brown, Mitch Marner and Nazem Kadri scored for the Maple Leafs (10-5-0). Brown also had an assist.

                  SENATORS 7, DEVILS 3

OTTAWA, Ontario (AP) - Mark Stone had two goals and three assists, Colin White scored twice and Ottawa beat New Jersey in the Senators' first game since the emergence of an embarrassing viral video.

The clip showed seven players during an Uber ride in Phoenix last month insulting the team and assistant coach Martin Raymond. Earlier in the day, Stone dismissed the latest Senators drama as a ''hiccup'' and said the team is already repairing the frayed relationship between players and coaches that was laid bare in the video.

Thomas Chabot, Ryan Dzingel and Magnus Paajarvi had the other goals for the Senators (6-6-3). Craig Anderson made 30 saves before he was replaced by Mike McKenna (six saves) for the final five minutes. Chabot also had two assists, and Matt Duchene had three.

Taylor Hall, Kyle Palmieri and Travis Zajac scored for the Devils (6-6-1), who haven't won consecutive games since starting the season with four straight wins. Cory Schneider started in goal but was replaced by Keith Kinkaid in the second period after allowing four goals on 22 shots.

                  BLUE JACKETS 4, STARS 1

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Sergei Bobrovsky made 27 saves to lead Columbus past Dallas.

Anthony Duclair, Markus Nutivaara, Nick Foligno and Ryan Murray scored for the Blue Jackets, who snapped a two-game skid.

Ben Bishop stopped 30 shots and Jamie Benn scored for the Stars, who lost their second straight after winning three in a row.

Bobrovsky, who has struggled lately, withstood a 6-on-5 surge after Dallas pulled Bishop late in the game.

                  RANGERS 5, CANADIENS 3

NEW YORK (AP) - Neal Pionk scored the tiebreaking goal on a sensational, end-to-end rush late in the third period and New York rallied to beat Montreal for its fourth straight win.

Mika Zibanejad and Chris Kreider each had a goal and an assist, Tony DeAngelo and Pavel Buchnevich also scored, and Kevin Hayes had three assists for the Rangers. Henrik Lundqvist made 31 saves.

New York trailed 3-1 early in the second period before scoring the last four goals - three in the third.

Tomas Tatar had two goals and Max Domi also scored for the Canadiens, who were 7-3-1 in their previous 11 games. Brendan Gallagher and Jeff Petry each had two assists, and Carey Price stopped 27 shots.

RED WINGS 3, CANUCKS 2, SO

DETROIT (AP) - Dylan Larkin scored the only goal in a shootout to give Detroit a comeback win over Vancouver.

Justin Abdelkader and Gustav Nyquist scored in regulation for the Red Wings, who have won four of five. Jimmy Howard stopped 40 shots before denying Elias Pettersson, Nikolay Goldobin and Bo Horvat in the tiebreaker.

Pettersson and defenseman Ben Hutton scored for the Canucks, who had won three straight. Jacob Markstrom made 28 saves.

                  BLUES 4, HURRICANES 1

ST. LOUIS (AP) - Ryan O'Reilly had his first NHL hat trick and Robby Fabbri added his first goal in almost two years, sending St. Louis over Carolina.

Chad Johnson, starting his second game of the season, made 38 saves in his first win since March 31, 2018, for Buffalo.

O'Reilly has five goals in the last four games. He extended his scoring streak to eight games, with seven goals and eight assists during that span.

Jaccob Slavin scored his first goal of the season for the Hurricanes, who outshot the Blues 39-19. St. Louis had just seven shots after taking a 3-1 lead in the first period.

Carolina goalie Curtis McElhinney fell to 1-6-1 against the Blues in his career.

                  KINGS 4, DUCKS 1

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Ilya Kovalchuk had a goal and two assists, and Los Angeles opened the tenure of interim coach Willie Desjardins with a win over Anaheim.

Dustin Brown and Kyle Clifford scored first-period goals, while Jack Campbell made 30 saves and picked up his first career assist as the Kings comfortably won the first Freeway Faceoff of the season for these two struggling Southern California rivals.

Desjardins has run just one practice since getting his new job Sunday after the Kings fired John Stevens early in his second season in charge.

Tyler Toffoli's empty-net goal clinched the Kings' first back-to-back victories of the season. Los Angeles has won three of four overall following a six-game skid with a huge boost from newcomer Kovalchuk, who has nine points during that four-game stretch.

Ryan Kesler scored and John Gibson stopped 23 shots for the injury-wracked Ducks, who have lost eight of nine and earned points in just three games during that span.

                  SHARKS 4, WILD 3

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Marcus Sorenson had a goal and two assists as San Jose beat Minnesota.

Barclay Goodrow's second goal of the season broke a 3-all deadlock at 7:25 of the third period. Goodrow also had an assist and Martin Jones made 23 saves for the Sharks, who had dropped six straight to Minnesota.

Joe Thornton and Antti Suomela scored the other San Jose goals.

Jared Spurgeon and Matt Dumba scored 2:05 apart for the Wild to tie it at 3 early in the third. Zach Parise also had a goal for Minnesota, and Devan Dubnyk turned back 18 shots.

Minnesota (8-4-2) had won seven of eight overall.

                      Quote of the Day
“Go through the list and this team, over a long period of time, has been what it’s been. It hasn’t always mattered who the head coach has been. So to me, if you’re asking me, I’d say there has to be a complete overhaul of the entire organization.”

Wednesday’s Den: Wrapping up Opening Night in college hoop

                      13) Kansas 92, Michigan State 87— Jayhawks led this game the whole way, were up 50-36 at halftime, but Spartans fought back late and made the Kansas fans sweat.

Dick Vitale started his 40th season on ESPN with this game; he surprised me by saying that he thinks college basketball season starts too early, and shouldn’t begin until after Thanksgiving Day. Don’t think I agree with that; after Thanksgiving would be too late.

I liked the early season basketball marathon ESPN used to run for 24 hours, but they’ve done away with it now. That would’ve been early next week. Who needs sleep?

                      12) Duke 118, Kentucky 84— Blue Devils led this game 34-13 at one point, and then it got worse; impressive display by a very young Duke team- game was 59-42 at halftime, 85-52 with 12:22 left. Wildcats don’t get whacked like that very often.

                      11) Texas Southern 72, Baylor 69— When you pay an opponent to come to your gym and play, they’re not supposed to win. Last year, Texas Southern played its first 13 games on the road- their first home game was New Year’s Day. TSU started last year 0-13, lost by 31 at Baylor, but the Jonny Jones era gets off to an excellent start here.

                      10) Arizona State 102, Cal State-Fullerton 94 2OT— Titans made NCAAs LY but weren’t given a big chance here; Ahmad/Allman combined for 64 points, but no other Titan scored more than 11 points- they’ll need a third scorer to emerge.

ASU was only 26-44 on foul line; they took 18 more FT’s than Fullerton.

                      9) North Carolina 78, Wofford 67— This game was tied 46-all with 10:30 left, but reality set in down the stretch. Credit to Roy Williams for going to Wofford’s gym and playing a real road game— it’ll make the Tar Heels better. Wofford has to be encouraged by this game.

More teams need to have some guts and play some true road games.

                      8) Georgia State 74, East Tennessee State 68— Couple of solid mid-majors hooked up here; ETSU had 27 offensive rebounds, but were just 4-23 on arc, 17-27 on charity stripe. Four Georgia State starters played 35:00+, so not a lot of depth there.

                      7) Bills-Jets total this week is 36.5; it is the lowest NFL total since 2012.

                      6) Penn 72, George Mason 71— Quakers win a nail biter despite going 6-18 on the foul line.

                      5) Stony Brook 77, George Washington 74 OT— GW led this game 22-0 but lost; not exactly the best way to start your season. Stony Brook’s first points came 10:14 into the game; they were only 6-26 on arc, 17-27 on foul line, but they out-rebounded the Colonials 46-38, who were 16-34 on the foul line in at overtime loss.

                      4) Providence 77, Siena 67— Friars made 13-25 on arc, Saints 12-28 in relatively foul-free game; only 20 FT’s were tried in this game. Siena started a soph and two frosh in coach Christian’s Siena debut; they have to be somewhat encouraged by this game.

                      3) There are now 353 Division I basketball teams; Cal Baptist (WAC) and North Alabama (Atlantic Sun) are the two new teams this season.

                      2) Boston College 73, Milwaukee 53— BC was down 10 at the half in this game; they outscored the Panthers 46-16 in second half.

                      1) Louisiana Tech 71, Wichita State 58— Could be more of a rebuilding job than people thought for the Wheatshockers- they were a 10-point favorite here.

                            • Sissons nets hat trick to lead Predators past Avalanche 4-1
                              November 7, 2018

DENVER (AP) Colton Sissons got his second career hat trick and Colorado had two apparent goals nullified on replay review as the Nashville Predators beat the Avalanche 4-1 Wednesday night.

Ryan Hartman added an empty-net goal with 2:54 left in Nashville's 11th consecutive regular-season victory against Colorado, which has lost four straight overall.

Trailing 2-0, the Avalanche had an apparent goal at 1:29 of the second period waived off after a replay review showed the puck had drifted across the blue line, making it offside. Samuel Girard was straddling the blue line when he passed to Ian Cole, whose shot zoomed into the net past goalie Pekka Rinne only to have it erased after the Predators' challenge was upheld.

A second Avalanche goal was disallowed, on a shot by Colin Wilson, with 12:33 remaining in the third following a Predators challenge. Officials took away the score after the replay review, saying the Avs were offside when the play started.

Girard was at the center of the only goal that counted for Colorado, a power-play score. He fired a pass down the middle of the ice that Matt Calvert redirected past Rinne to pull the Avalanche to 2-1 at 7:08 of the second period. The goal was upheld after a replay review.

Nashville rebuilt its lead on the power play. Kyle Turris, off a feed from Kevin Fiala, wristed a shot from inside the right circle that Sisson tipped into the net past goalie Semyon Varlamov for his third of the night at 19:57 of the second.

Sisson got the first two thirds of the hat trick in the first period. At 13:39 of the period, Varlamov stopped a shot from Nick Bonino but the rebound trickled out and Sissons was there with his stick to tap it in.

Four minutes later, Sissons gathered a cross-ice pass from Roman Josi and wristed a shot past Varlamov from in close.

NOTES: Sisson has four multigoal games in his career, including his first hat trick last Jan. 5 against Tampa Bay. ... Avalanche forward Sheldon Dries took a puck off the side of his face late in the first period. He stayed down on the ice stunned for several moments before managing to get up and skate off under his own power. He went to the dressing room for further examination and treatment before returning in the second period. ... It was the first of four meetings this season between the Central Division rivals.

Oshie leaves twice, scores winner to lift Caps over Pens 2-1

WASHINGTON (AP) T.J. Oshie watched the clock in the training room hoping he'd get back on the ice.

Oshie was back there for a second time Wednesday night after he took a shoulder to the head from Evgeni Malkin that made an earlier stick to the face seem like an afterthought. With Malkin ejected for the illegal check to the head, Oshie returned to score late and lift the Washington Capitals over the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 in a meeting of the two most recent Stanley Cup champions.

The Capitals forward needed two stitches to close a cut by his left eye and went through concussion protocol before returning to the game and becoming the hero by scoring with 1:14 left. Oshie doesn't care much what happens next to Malkin, who could get a hearing with the NHL department of safety. Oshie's focus is solely on Washington winning its second in a row.

''My face is a little messed up, but I'm feeling pretty good now,'' Oshie said. ''He caught me there, and it is what it is. I passed my concussion test, went out and won the game.''

After Oshie took Olli Maatta's stick to the face in the opening minutes, Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin traded power-play goals in a vintage showcase of their career-long rivalry. While he sat waiting to return to the game, Oshie heard about how goaltender Braden Holtby was standing on his head to keep the Capitals in the game.

Holtby stopped 41 of the 42 shots he faced for his first win since Oct. 22. He got some help from the post on almost a half-dozen occasions, but Holtby also turned in his best performance of the season.

''I felt comfortable as the game moved on,'' Holtby said. ''I got some breaks, too, early on. The posts obviously was a break we weren't getting in the past.''

The Penguins dominated for much of the night and still lost their fifth consecutive game. They have just one point during the skid and face the possibility of being without Malkin in the near future.

With Pittsburgh on the power play early in the third period, Malkin passed the puck and lifted his right shoulder into Oshie's head and kept skating. The officials conferred before deciding to give Malkin a five-minute major penalty.

''He maybe thought I was coming to hit him and so he threw the reverse shoulder out there, which I try to do that all the time,'' Oshie said. ''I just wasn't expecting it being on the PK.''

Pittsburgh coach Mike Sullivan said it didn't matter what he thought of Malkin's hit and added he's not concerned about the star Russian center facing further discipline. Sullivan was more optimistic about his team's play than in previous games since returning from a successful trip to Western Canada.

''I thought it was a solid effort by everybody in the locker room, everybody on the bench,'' Sullivan said. ''I thought our guys played extremely hard. We deserved a better fate tonight.''

Pittsburgh outshot Washington 42-22 and got 20 saves from Casey DeSmith in his first career start against the Capitals. He was powerless to stop Oshie's goal after a pass from John Carlson gave him a wide-open net.

Late in a sloppy game full of turnovers and whiffs on the puck, Oshie just wanted to make sure he didn't shoot so high he missed the net. After missing most of the first and third periods, Oshie made the most of his only shot in 13:51 of ice time.

''I barely saw him on the bench there,'' center Nicklas Backstrom said. ''He came back right in time. That's what big players do. They come back, they score the game-winner.''

NOTES: F Zach Aston-Reese made his season debut and LW Garrett Wilson made his Penguins debut after being called up Tuesday. ... Penguins C Derick Brassard missed his sixth consecutive game with a lower-body injury. ... Capitals D Brooks Orpik missed his fourth game with a lower-body injury. ... ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) Ryan Getzlaf scored 27 seconds after Calgary got a tying goal in the third period, and the Anaheim Ducks beat the Flames 3-2 on Wednesday night.

The Flames trailed 2-0 in the first but rallied to tie it six minutes into the third on Mark Jankowski's short-handed goal.

Getzlaf then was able to corral a loose puck in front of the goal and directed a backhand through Mike Smith's legs for his second game-winner of the season.

It was only the fourth time in 17 games the Ducks have led after the second period. They are unbeaten when they lead after 40 minutes.

Jakob Silfverberg and Adam Henrique also scored for Anaheim. Ryan Miller made 37 saves and tied Andy Moog (372) for 17th on the career wins list.

Matthew Tkachuk also scored for Calgary, and Smith stopped 21 shots.

Anaheim got on the board at 8:37 of the first when Silfverberg carried the puck into the Calgary zone and ripped a slap shot for his fifth goal of the season. Henrique gave the Ducks a two-goal lead three minutes later when he pounced on a rebound after Smith stopped Josh Manson's shot from near the blue line.

With less than three minutes left in the first, Calgary scored on the power play when Tkachuk redirected Elias Lindholm's drive past Gibson.

Jankowski tied it when he stole the puck from Anaheim's Brandon Montour in the neutral zone and shot it just over Miller's glove while leading a 2-on-1 rush.

Notes: Anaheim D Jacob Larsson got an assist on Silfverberg's goal for his first NHL point. Larsson was the Ducks' first-round selection in the 2015 draft. ... Ducks are 3-1 during the second game of back to backs ... Tkachuk has a point in four straight games with two goals and four assists. ... Lindholm's assist extending his points streak to six (three goals, six assists).
