Those numbers keep getting worse because of more and more entitlement programs and people not working. So that is your point for liking Obama? He is the one that keeps handing out money and making it easier for the "poor" to collect. So more and more people keep falling into low income earners and those numbers get larger.

    The way I look at it, it's easier for me and the hard workers to advance in this world because you are competing with less and less qualified people. America has become lazy and getting good at holding out our hands. And apparently spewing some stats about people making more money shows what? Get off your ass and work and get some more money. Save money, invest, and then you will get to write off some capital gains on your taxes. Instead these losers want to cry wolf and keep the free stuff coming. So as this chart continues the gap is going to get bigger and bigger. Why? Cause there are more and more losers and people sitting on their ass.
    Typical neocon dribble. So what do you with those who can't find work? They start stealing more and we become a 3rd world country? Luckily the majority of the people, including conservatives and independents don't believe in ridiculous statements such as yours.

    The rich get richer. That's what that table says. The rich outsource jobs to foreign countries. That's what those tables say. There are millions with no health insurance so they become a bigger tax burden on the middle class. That's what those tables say. The top few % of income earners in this country make a majority all the money. That's what that table says. It says that imbeciles continue to believe that by starving the poor it will somehow will MAKE them work or find work. It says that people who are rich need to stop hoarding their money and work on creating jobs in THIS country.

    It only be fitting if you land flat on your ass someday as a senior citizen or otherwise and need gov't assistance and can't get it. People like you love living in glass houses and throwing stones.....

      i was speaking more on the inheriting a piece of shit comment & less about the slowly crawling out part. He inherited 2 wars and an economy in the shitter.WTF u expect him to fix all that during his first year. he has already ended that nonsense in Iraq. I'm still glad he got elected over McCain. McCain offered nothing more than more Bush policies and those clearly were not workin.

        Kaz, sorry for the delay (meeting ran longer than I wanted), and I will address your specific questions later today / this evening. In the meantime, I have prepped a "sample" federal income tax return to demonstrate how so many people pay no income taxes.

        Assumptions:
        Married couple with two children;
        Combined W-2 income of $58,000 (he $32,000 and she $25,000);
        They rent their home;
        So she can work, they pay $250 per month per child for daycare for a total of $6,000.

        Their 2010 tax return can be seen in the attached pdfs (I hope this works correctly). Had to use two files due to size limits on BC

          Pubs cant do any better than Romney, they deserve to lose.

          Dont get me wrong, i will vote for whoever goes up against Obama, but it wont matter.

          Obama isnt to blame for all the mess, nor is George Bush, no one politician alone put us where we are at. The whole system is fucked and I dont think it can be fixed.

          I can tell you this, no one on here is going to fix it by arguing on a gambling web site for sure. All you will do is get angry, get your blood pressure up, and waste Monte's bandwith with threads that dont matter shit.

          Have at it, I like to read all of this hate directed at one another over absoulutely nothing at all, it entertains me.

          damn, pretty smart from a guy from kentucky !!! and this cajun agrees !!!
          it is very entertaining to see everyone get riled up and argue about this when BOTH parties are fucked up.

            Ooops..Forgot to make my point. Jack and Jill here, guess $58,000 would be considered close to the norm...they pay ZERO income taxes. In fact, they receive Income Tax Revenue in this example of $34. Will be back at this thread later today...

              Hey, look Dave...I agree with you. That's why I am neither a D nor an R...I am a fiscal conservative and that's why both parties suck. I've seen (sickeningly) how this batch has run constant trillion dollar deficits, increased the national debt by $6 triilion in three years, hasn't passed a fucking budget since BOs been in the WH, so now, I'd vote for a toaster oven before I'd vote for any incumbment in either the Congress or the WH.

                I think arguing and standing up for what you believe in is important for many personal reasons. It's good brain power and sometimes it challenges me to really focus and recount some of the things I find important in life. I hold absolutely no grudge what so ever against Umreb78 or Watchtower for that matter. They have proven their intellectual worth at times to me on here. I may wholeheartedly disagree with some of their semantics, but don't begrudge either. Others, I'm not as forthcoming.
