I'll say it for the 3rd time. Is it good? NO! Has it gone to alarming numbers? NO!

I also gave specific reasons why it's not moving and won't move unless certain things are done to open up jobs here. It was in such a mess, there was little anyone was going to do to fix it. And I'm not so sure whoever takes over will be able to fix it during their tenure either. Banks aren't lending money, people still aren't spending, companies are outsourcing jobs oversees, two meaningless wars that decimated the economy the past 10 years. It's a trickle down effect that isn't gonna be solved overnight.

totally agree kaz, then this gov't should stop spending...Like Q2 and Q3 are just worthless and reckless ideas, all to stick save the f'n ponzie sch. stock market.

Instead they should just let greece default, let BAC, MS, freddie and fannie fail...

Let someone else run the postal service, and every gov't ran program...

Obama shouldn't be thinking health services and worry about the bigger problem and that's them dipping their hands in every countries problems....

We are in a world of hurt, and i'll be proud of someone to come out and tell us the truth instead of this pom pom chearleading that things are ok, unemployment is getting better, but our debt is now up to 15trillion..

Screw buffet and his f'n worthless ideas, anyone could have become him if you just invested every penny that anyone had 70 years ago, guess what, i'd like to see what he can do if he is just starting off investing in this market right now, he'd be f'n bankrupt like everyone else, so he don't know SHIT..

F, my parents retired at 52years old and they just invested everything they had when they were young, they don't understand what happened, but it made them money, but no way that is the way anymore.....those days are done

Totally agree...The stock market is overvalued and people at the top are playing games. Companies are enjoying some of the best profits in years yet no money or jobs are being created. I also think that we are too worried about what other countries problems are. Time to fix our own. Combat troops are out of Iraq and by next year will be out of Afghanistan. Sooner the better. They crippled this country. Period. Anyone with half a brain knows this. If we hadn't been invested in those wars, we could have survived this economic calamity....

Well i some what agree, but you have to realize, wars are great for our countries companies. Anytime we head into war, you can just imagine how many mom and pops shops are busy building some nuts and bolts, so i have to disagree with you thinking that's bad for the u.s even though i disagree with war.

i think Freddie and Fannie's 1 trillion bailout cost is a lot harder to fathem then the Iraq war cost of 1 trillion.

I just can't believe we can have a war for 9 years (iraq only) and that cost the same as the u.s taxpayer bailing out freddie adn fanny, it's just baffling

Disagree there. The wars have been much more costly than that. Oil prices, lives, and much more than a trillion $.

And don't agree about health care. Our health care system in this country is beyond fucked up. It's a vicious circle that isn't getting better. It's getting worse....

Go to Canada if you think our health care is f'd up, then why does everyone come from canada (govt ran system) to the U.S to get surgery? Ask anyone who is a "snow bird" why they wait till winter to get checked up and have any surgery?

I said the IRAQ war only

Financial cost of the Iraq War - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

and i said wars help the small companies, but to understand that we have been in war for 8 years and it's the same amount as bailing out freddie and fanny is just baffling

Wars help small companies how? They don't fix or build shit for wars. Haven't seen any small companies building war planes or tanks or anything else for that matter. The costs have been well into the trillions. I'll take the benefits of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac over the benefits of being engaged in a war....

And if you don't think the health care system is a burden on society and this country and why people in the bottom half have less and less money to spend, then you just don't get it. I don't buy the bullshit that people from other countries come here for health services so that's why we should let the health care industry screw over this country....

come on kaz, f'n talk to someone in canada how great there health care system is....My parents live in Arizona in the winter and have a lot of canadian friends, it's fact, i'm not even going to go into that conversation.

bottom half, i'm not going to even go in that can of worms, i'm so sick of that topic...

well maybe have the bottom half pay some kind of health care instead of having a cell phone or cable, some times things are not easy....

Really you don't think wars help employee people, come on kaz...ask anyone who is associated with tool and die makers, ask any defense company, it sure can't HURT that's forsure and yes it does help employing people...

These are things i'm just absolutly baffled you disagree on, i'm just astonished right now....

It's so f'n black and white with war and health care

I don't give a shit about Canada. We live in America and the health care system is a financial burden on society and it's bullshit. There are many countries with a universal health care system that work just fine. And that's not even the issue. Insurance companies are gauging people along with doctors and everyone down the line. Including massive amounts of paperwork and legal issues. Like I said, it's a vicious circle and it's financially killing us. People going to the ER for colds because it's free, doctors overcharging, drug companies overcharging. It's out of control and people like you wanna say, leave it be because people from Canada come here for health care. BS! fix the damn problem and stop the price gauging.....I'm astonished at your response.

And no, I don't think wars help the economy. The two wars were a huge factor in the economy taking a shit during the Bush tenure....
