Was anything said about the Obama's Administration killing Osama bin Laden?-that should count a "little bit." lol
In all honesty, no matter what anyone thinks of Obama(and lets face it, it is too soon to talk about a legacy when his term or terms aren't even completed yet), imo George Bush will be regarded as much worse.
I am going to start another thread about Bush's legacy with a video, and there are actually a few kind things said about him also.

Obama has put the worst people he could find in the highest level positions, e.g. Granholm as an Economic Advisor. She DESTROYED Michigan's economy and he makes HER an Economic Advisor? Arne Duncan WRECKED the Chicago educational system and he made him Secretary of Education! He's a Marxist, Socialist. People wake up. He banned drilling for oil. This is slightly ot, but did any of you ever consider the possibility that America's heyday may be over, and that eventually Chinese may become the world's greatest super power(if not well on its way already) and that nothing is going to change that?-its called evolution.
In line with this ,I believe for a variety of reasons some of which are related to evolution, that capitalism in this country is on its way out;imo some day in the next 25- 50 years or so, a socialist type of economy and way of life will have a firm hold in this country.
I am not advocating above but do feel that the type of policies offered by Obama, whether you agree with them or not, are the stepping stones to what I believe is inevitable.

I don't think anyone is in love with socialist policies per se-I do think however that we are beginning to see and will see more of class demands all over the world including the US to bring more equalization and distribution of wealth.
As stated before, I believe that even though some people bitch and complain about Obama's policies, that this Administration will mark a permanent turning point in our history and tht capitalism as we have known it in the past will gradually disappear.

Interesting debate Flare and Savage, but I'm not sure you two disagree that much with one another. Savage is not advocating tearing down our Capitalist system...just observing whats going on. Think you both have valid points. I'm not one who often recommends books to others, but if you want to explore this situation in much graeter depth, you REALLY need to read "The Trus Story of the Bilderberg Group" by a guy named Daniel Estulin. Amazon has it and its only like $20. Guys, there is sooooo much going on that we regular people have no clue about. This book is NOT conspiracy theory...it is CONSPIRACY FACT. Kind of supports what both of you are saying, but I have to warn you....It will scare the hell out of you if you believe in US sovereignty, US liberties, etc. you will find this incredibly enlightening. Give it a read and you'll come away knowing that BOTH of you are right and that, believe it or not, our own government doesn't even realize it's being played by a worldwide cast of spooky fuckers..and they are sacry.

Doc, you make a great point and intellectualy, it's hard to disagree with what you say. Here's my problem, though. I'm too damn stubborn in my old age and, although I've actually tried to tune out to the crap that's going on in government and just keep on living, I can't. If and when we become a liberty-less third world ghetto, at least I can take some comfort in knowing that they had to drag me kicking and screaming into the NWO where the individual is nothing more than a component of the COLLECTIVE. I simply won't be assimilated...Resistance in NOT futile...and I am NOT Borg! uhh...sorry bout that, got a bit carried away maybe...lol
