                Supply is out-stripping demand by a bunch these days. Production has been way up the last few years. current price of oil is not a good thing economically for states like Oklahoma and Texas, but it sure feels right when we go to the pump. I've seen gas below $2 several places today.

                  • Saw $1.85 at a station in Midwest City, OK. Have a friend who's a small-time oil man. When the price of oil is $130 a barrel he's raking. Then during the 80s bust when oil dropped to $18 he was struggling to make ends meet. Looks like it's headed in that direction again.

                    • Same thing happening here. The price of oil made it profitable to frack. I believe ND is only behind Texas in production. If the price stays down, gonna be some huge changes up here. Wish it didn't always have to be extremes.
