Focus On Jobs

This month's vigils will focus on jobs. We want our Representatives to pass Rep. George Miller's Local Jobs for America Act (HR 4812, 163 co-sponsors), which would cost $100 billion for 1 million local jobs. Where do we get the money? Easy - bring all our troops safely home from the disastrous occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan that cost $3 trillion so far. So we're also urging our Representatives to pass Rep. Barbara Lee's Afghanistan Withdrawal bill (HR 6045, 20 co-sponsors).

Surprised none of you Republicans responded to this because these are Republican bills and the Democrat site is urging Democrats to get their Democrat representatives to vote to pass these bills on jobs which will be created by the money we save by pulling out of the war.
