Thanks for their pics. I read everyone of them and I must admit that I cried while looking at their pics. I tried to imagine myself being a part of their family and I'm not sure what would be harder to deal with; being a parent and recieving the news that my 19 year old son died for or country, or finding out that my father passed. I know that both are horrible, but I would think that in todays military there are more older men that are still active then there were during Vietnam. Furthermore, it seems that most of them died by a makeshift bomb--what a horrible way to die. IMO, these pics should be on the front page of every newspaper in the country whenever someone dies for or country-that's the least we could do to honor their service. I think if we saw their pics everyday then the general public would think twice before supporting any type of war. Thanks again for the pics spark, and God bless their souls and their families that are trying to muster up the strength to carry on with their lifes. Peace and love.

gm, Your post is the exact reason why I am doing this. I agree with you 100%. I do not think they get enough exposure. I just started looking at them myself online and I was hoping others would feel the same way we do. It is so sad it breaks my heart. I also think of their families. So much sorrow in the world over these wars.

            God Bless

Putting faces with our fallen heroes makes it more real and difficult to look at.

I say bring them HOME! We don't need any more casualties.

Monte, anyone who says to keep this war going should have to send one of their family members .. a son or daughter ... mother or father ... let's see how they feel about it then

My son-in-law is in the reserves now and has already been to afghanistan once. I hope and pray that he never goes back. I don't know how my daughter, grandson, or myself would handle it if something happened to him.

God bless these men and women and please protect them.
