  • Tiger's loose

I'm a golfer. I have told my friends I golf with, that Tiger may well be playing poorly on purpose. Tiger is cheap. I've heard many stories about him being cheap and was told by dealers in Vegas that Tiger never tips when he's there. My thought was that his attorney's told him not to win any of these tourneys because it's just more that he will end up paying out to his wife. If he's look like he's lost it, his settlement to her might be cut. If attorneys could get just a few million cut from that settlement, then it would be well worth it. I think they got a lot more cut off the settlement because he's been curiously terrible.

So yesterday he signs papers and his divorce is final. How did he do today? He fires a 66 and looks like the Tiger of old. Just coincidence? Maybe....

The only reason I'm posting this is to possibly look at a play on Tiger for tomorrow's match ups. I also think he'll play well next weekend in a tourney that's his benefit. I will post a play if it looks good when the lines come out.

That is ridiculous. He cares way more about winning the majors that he sucked at this year than he does giving her a few more million. Read the papers and you will see he has had a lot going on in his life lately. If he didn't want to give her more, he wouldn't have played at all this year. He played in those majors for one reason, to win them.

No way in hell is that true. Two of the biggest payouts of the year are Masters and U.S Open. Tiger finished 4th in both.He would have missed the cut in those if what your saying was true.

Believe whatever you want. You don't have to believe my theory. And I'm not asking you to.

I find it curious, as much that was on his mind, and how bad he supposedly felt yesterday, that he comes out and fires a 66 in the first day after signing papers.

Yeah, he can say he wanted to win those tourneys. And we should all believe him because he's such an honest guy that never lies.

If his attorneys told him if he looked like he wasn't the same player any longer, he could save millions, I think he'd do it in a heartbeat. What's his net worth? $750 million? And he settled for $100 million? When she was asking for $750 million? It's possible....

We'll see how he plays from here on out...

Kaz are you really impressed with a 66? I know you say your a golfer but to you 66 is great but to these guys 66 is like a pro bowler bowling a 240. If he shot 60-62 everyday and just went off for 4 days shooting -25 for the tournament then maybe just maybe you would have a leg to stand on.66 in round 1 of a tournament is nothing.

Exactly why I said we'll see how he plays from here on out. So far he claims today that he's playing better than he has in over a year. This might make a good betting opportunity because last night he was an underdog to everyone they matched him against. You don't often see Tiger at plus money against anyone. The window is narrow on getting him at good odds. We'll see what comes out tonight.

If I was leaning towards him playing good or bad these next few weeks I would lean to take Tiger for the next few weeks in any matchup I could get him.Somehow Tiger always seems to put his mind to it and play well when he has to.Pavin has yet to make his picks for the Ryder Cup and you know Tiger wants to play his way on that team.Pavin will pick him regardless but Tiger wants the respect of his fellow golfers and wants to win a tournament to prove he's back and gets on the team the right way. JMO.

He was +150 against Mcilroy and +145 against Mickelson last night. Like I said, the betting window is narrow. We'll see if there is a match-up for tomorrow's round.

I would also like to see if he putted good today.I have seen Tiger shoot 66 and it could have been 63 if he made some putts. If he hit 80% of the greens in regulation and shot 66 then he didn't putt well IMO.But if he was spraying it off the tee and making 6 footers for par and 10 footers for birdie and shot 66 then watch out he will be in the hunt come Sunday.

He was driving it straight and long all day from what they said on the news.

if one was to say that tiger is glad divorce is final, relieved and is less stressed out and playing with a clear head for the first time all year so he is playing better, i'd agree.

Not to split hairs, but he shot 65. -6 on a par 71 course.
Anyway if all he was going to save was a couple million, he could have made 4 to 5 million by playing better, he made over 10 million last year. Ernie Els has made over 4 million this year, plus I would venture to guess if he was playing well, he would start picking up sponsors again. Unless you think it saved him a couple million a year in alimony or child support??
