I have a question for you vitterd - If the political issues were not on this site, how much participating would you still do?
Would you be here almost every day and post almost every day?

ok... first of all i dont call anyone racist... the only racist i have seen here was stern62 or whatever his name is... he made obvious racist statements that have since been deleted... other than that i havent called anybody a racist

now the fox news thing is obvious... hell .. we just saw jman post an article that he tried to hide was from fox news.. the truth is many republicans get their only news from fox and i dont even think that is debatable

the only times gw bush is brought up is in comparison to the current president.. who else are u gonna compare to? when somebody says obama takes too many vacations and doesnt ackowledge gw bush had the record for vacations u dont find that a reasonable response?

all my posts do not go into 3 or 4 categories... thats just you generalizing and it is completely untrue

would i be here as much if it was just sports? no of course not... ive worked in politics my whole life and have gambled on sports my entire life since age 15... its my 2 favorite things... i just dont i find as much interest in debating sports as i do politics

I agree that the politics forum does over-take everything else at times ... but I know for a fact that a member does not need to talk about sports to be valuable around here ... I really do not want to mention names but jcindaville is such an awesome guy, actually my personal favorite poster, I mean Dimer is good, but hey, he isnt jcindaville, so he would be missed if he were not here ...

I post picks, after that I talk very little about sports ... I enjoy capping but I really do not follow sports that closely like I did in the past ... I do like to read opinions of others about sports ... like I do about everything else including politics ...

Since apparently this is what most have wanted, I think the name of the site should be changed to BUNDTCAKE CHAT.

After all, the first page SHOULD ALWAYS BE ABOUT BUNDTCAKESinstead of sports and the one getting the most out of all this is speaking strictly about BUNDTCAKES

A certain poster on here, not mentioning names lol but initials are JC, has 30,000posts into today and a TOTAL of 14 of them are concerning sports. That is just amazing to me on a site called BETTORSCHAT. Just amazing.

Can't wait to see how I get bashed for this post, but since it is does seem to be the norm here now, I might as well post the truth.

I banned jordan jt because he is an asshole and i banned terd for the same reason. We have been talking about getting rid of a few guys and keeping the forum cuz it would be better without a few guys that just fight all the time, left and right wingers. vitterd was 1st on my list and as you can see by others in threads, i think most were sick of his mouth.

Most are sick of his mouth because he doesn't share the same views as them. This isn't brain surgery, others don't like him because he's very savvy with his responses and most can't debate with him and the majority here are Conservatives. Banning him, esp from you, is utter bullshit. You have taunted him and recently called him every name in the book, as others here have done. For the most part, he's taken the insults in stride. But you, with your mouth, have given the others the impetus to call him out as well. It's embarrassing. Sharks surrounding the wounded. Because they see you doing it, they know it must be OK. As a mod, you're here to set the example, not become the instigater. When you corner a dog and poke him with a stick, you're gonna get bit.

Jordan was banned because he was a racist imbecile who was warned several times. The two are not comparable. Vit had his moments of poor judgment but he's also been the butt of many jokes and shitty names..

And in case any of you are going to say I'm only sticking up for Vit because he's Liberal, I also stuck up for Husker and Gbell when they were banned. Although I will never stick up for Gbell again. He gets whatever he deserves. I have a lot more respect for Husker now however....

I just noticed the other day that jordan was banned and wondered why, well i knew probably why but wanted to know for sure.
