Name change from bettorschat to politicalchat

Since apparently this is what most have wanted, I think the name of the site should be changed to POLITICALCHAT.

After all, the first page is almost ALWAYS about politics instead of sports and the one getting the most out of all this is speaking strictly about politics.

A certain poster on here, not mentioning names lol but initials at VT, has 916 posts into today and a TOTAL of 14 of them are concerning sports. That is just amazing to me on a site called BETTORSCHAT. Just amazing.

Can't wait to see how I get bashed for this post, but since it is does seem to be the norm here now, I might as well post the truth.

And by the way, these figures might be off by one or two at the most and they didn't come from FOX, or Limbaugh, or Bush, so it isn't a Rep thing like certain people think it is.

you're spot on. i've gone from posting 10 times a day to maybe 10 times a week, although i do check in everyday.

also, they really need to merge all-sports discussion and members picks into one forum.

I agree that the politics forum does over-take everything else at times ... but I know for a fact that a member does not need to talk about sports to be valuable around here ... I really do not want to mention names but there are a handful of guys that do not talk about sports that would be missed if they were not here ...

I post picks, after that I talk very little about sports ... I enjoy capping but I really do not follow sports that closely like I did in the past ... I do like to read opinions of others about sports ... like I do about everything else including politics ...


As far as the politics forum goes Be patient guys, things are a changing ...

I will say that Politics could be a sport, the problem is that Libs are no competition.

Joe, You know that my intention was not about guys chatting on here about sports all the time. My point was that there are a few posters whose post are well over 90% argumentive. I'm not talking about a civil discussion.
Their intentions are too argue UNLESS you agree with them and you know that is the case. It is strictly a shit stirrer to them, and they are the straws. If I say black, they say white.
If I disagree, it is ONLY because I am a Republican and they are Democrats, NOT just because we disagree.
It pushes some peoples buttons and makes them leave.

My point is - Who is more valuable to this forum, the shit stirrers or others who have been here and are getting run off because they are tired of the bullshit?

first, it only took about 10 minutes to search the posts and I was bored last night so don't flatter yourself and think I spent hours doing it.

second, trust me, you have NOTHING in your house that I want.

third, the racist comment was in response to how you answer the majority of your rebuttals - they are either racist, bush lovers and obama haters, watch too much fox news, etc.

fourth, this is a BETTORSCHAT FORUM. You are also not forced to participate in it and apparently you don't.
