just a thought. If they build it. Is it okay for a christian or a jew to fly a plane into their mosque and then build a church or temple in its place?

If the Christians are related or support the flying of the plane into the Mosque then I would say no. That is the Christians or Jewish people that have a relationship other than religious views with the ones that flew the planes into the mosque. If not then yeah they can build it there.

This Country has the right practice any religion that you want. Just because someone practices a certain religion does not mean that they condone what other members of their religion does or doesn't do.

Some of the nicest people could also be Muslims that live in this Country. Have you met or talked to any of them? Because from what it sounds like to me you believe that all Muslims are responsible for what happened on 9-11. Is that correct? Do you think all Muslims are bad people?

My next question is for all of the white people in this Country that commit crimes does that make all white people bad people?

Same for other races African Americans, Hispanics etc?

To answer your original question I don't think they should build the mosque so close to the twin towers. However, if they own the land then it's their's to do with. I think for safety concerns they need to put it somewhere else.

I get e-mails daily to me and usually don't read them because its a waste to read them then share them on here. The reason you're not going to change any persons beliefs on Religion or Politics.

They don't even have the money to build it. Can't it be asked where the money is coming from? Most Dems are against the Supreme Court ruling with regards to corporate money in elections and want to modify the law to make sure a "disclaimer" is in every ad noting where the money for the ad came from.
