I read that part. Didn't know it was the only part of the article. Those numbers are so misleading but I'm sure u only see what u want to. Poor big oil. How will they ever survive

KB, they get around paying more taxes by funneling money through their subsidiaries and other entities in 3rd world countires. The tax loops have to be closed. You're right on the amount they paid, but finish the whole article, and it explains how they get around paying more.

good point, I have a problem with GE too, aswell as a number of other corporations that have manipulated the system for too long. The methods inwhich huge corps abuse our system is not the type of capitialism adam smith envisioned.
