his claim to fame is that he was a pilot on 911. He has no chance whatsoever.

I wouldnt expect anything else from you flare. This guy said he wouldnt have supported the civil rights act of 1964 and he still doesnt support portions of it today.

Unfortunately this dude will probably win.

Actually I was wondering if MM was going to answer honestly, but obviously not. He said that he was for 9/10th's of the Act, but wanted to have a discussion about it's implications with private biz. He CLEARLY stated he was against discrimination, racism, and wouldn't support any biz involved with it. But if there was an honest interpretation (which isn't here) of his comments, an clear-thinking person would at least understand where he was coming from.

On a side not, obviously the left must be afraid of him with EVERY lead story on the four horsemen's shows bashing Paul dishonestly.

where is vitturd talking about not telling the whole story. this is just concentrating on a small fraction of what someone said. i thought rep's are the only ones that do this?

like i said, BOTH sides spin and do things to fire up their base.

GM, wouldn't you agree that this is a perfect example of the dem's doing what you were saying the rep's were better at doing in the other thread?

I think I'd rather have the guy in office right now. He's smart and says a lot of things that pisses of the elites that are running this country.

Husker, what world do u live in? Where did I say dems don't tell the whole story? Both sides take soundbites at campaign time and use them. U always get your issues confused. U and jman compare things that are not comparable constantly

Paul said something he is trying to spin his way out of and he better get used to it. It will be a major factor in his campaign. He thinks govt should not be able to dictate who private businesses can have as customers. He thinks a restaurant owner should be able to say they don't have to serve someone based on race. He can spin all he wants that's what he is saying. I wish him luck he will be fighting that up and thru election

It is actually the right who lives for diversion tactics. It has been their entire platform in every election for 20 years. Fear has been their biggest diversion factor last 8 years. Doesn't work anymore so they changed to terms like socialism and communism. Same basic fear method just a difft way.
