Wow, talk about your generalizations. That is scary and an indictment on your opinion of law enforcement. So what were they doing before this law? Doesn't really support your argument now does it? Either they profile all the time (your point about FACT) or they don't.

the fact that you dont think there are some bad cops is crazy... there is bad in every profession... sure most of law enforcement is great but there are some who will abuse this to no end...

Here is where you argument holds no weight..you post that it is a "FACT" and "HUMAN NATURE" for the police in AZ to break the law and racially profile. Which is against the law..But there are police in AZ who are deadset against this law. Now your response will be they are "enlightened" and doing the right thing. But if it is a FACT that it is HUMAN NATURE to racially profile and break the law, how are the ENLIGHTENED fighting fact and human nature?

And of course there are bad cops. Never said otherwise did I? No, and even you can comprehend that. There are also bad salespeople, bad mortgage brokers, bad financial advisrs, etc.

And lastly, if those BAD cops are going to abuse this, shouldn't they be taken off the streets for being bad cops? Like someone who takes cash from hookers and dealers. A bad cop is a bad cop regardless of the law they are breaking.

I know that illegals coming into this country is a huge problem, and something has to be done to stop it. We need more people securing the borders, but we also need to put people in jail or fine people that give these people jobs. lets face it, they wouldn't be coming here if they didn't have an endless supply of jobs. I don't think Arizona's measure will be as successful as they hope, but I bet a dollar to a doughnut that if the govt starts craking down on people that hire illegals they will eventually stop coming here because they won't be able to get a job. If we want to get serious about this matter; which we should we need to start to take more creative measures than the ones we're doing now. I bet once one of these business owners see someone they know go to jail they'll think twice before they give an illegal a job. One more thing, I don't buy the notion that they're doing jobs Americans' aren't willing to do. I know a ton of Americans' willing to work for a fair wage, but these illegals are doing OUR jobs for crap wages.
