And that's why most of the democratic nominations this fall aren't fighting for there jobs? And that's why Obama's approval rating is at the same level as when GWB left office, is that why Reid won't be re-elected....Yep voters didn't buy it last election but we'll see who they "BUY" this next election...FYI did you see what happened in Massachusetts, it's only a matter of time

youre right we never spent 2-3 trillion dollars in iraq or afghanistan during gwb 2 terms. He didnt turn a budget surplus he inherited from bill clinton into an alltime defecit and the unemployment or gas prices were not headed to recent higs during his term. None of that happened under gwb.

I'd rather have war that gets the economy jump started even if it's a horrible thing to say and i'm not 1% in favor of this war, but it does make things in our country a lot better. But to say 2 trillion is a lot of money to spend on a war, well i'll throw out these simple "stock market symbols" and you'll understand that these companies will be paid more then what the entire war we've spent...C, GM, FRE, FNM, AIG will cost more in the end then what we've spent on the war and last time i checked, i don't see any of those companies hiring anybody but in the last 10 years i'm sure Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin Alliant Techsystem etc have benifited from war along with millions of people who are work for them, so don't say war is a waste....Waste in my eyes are bailing out shitty companies so that GS can benifit all on the taxpayers pockets.
