How's this... Obama being elected will kill us all. We need republicans to get control of congress and the white house so we have a chance of survival. Conservative policies have been nothing but great for the country...we need another drug addict, war hungry bafoon to get this country on the right track. Those 2 years dems had control of congress cost the conservatives that surplus left by clinton.

We conservatives need to do what we always do. Offer absolutely no solutions and just keep bashing away scaring the people to vote for us. I agree that Bush did MANY things that MANY don't agree with but Obama hasn't done any better. I also understand that you will judge him after 4 years and to me, that is fair. If u think that is a stereotype then ok. I'm basing it on 15 years of political campaigns and constant dealings with the rep party on several difft levels of govt. I challenge to look at all the posts here by republicans... Do not all of them say basically the exact same thing?

Ok. So the economy did so well under bush and unemployment was fanatstic. Yet his approval rating was in the 20 percents and the opinion of the rep party was at an all time low. Does that even sound logical to you? I've answered yours and others questions. You are on record saying u don't believe the numbers. You only believe the numbers that reflect poorly on the current admin. Those numbers are somehow acceptable to you. So what is the sense? You are in your own little fox and rep sheep world that. I gotta disagree with u there. There is always a ton of disagreement and varying views with dems. Way more then rep party. It is why bush had zero prob pushing his war agenda when rep were in control. They just fell in line.

You guys are all passionate about your feelings....I understand that. Both sides will probably disagree with this, but it is true. The turmoil right now is not a Dem vs Rep issue...No, it's a battle bewteen Progessives (huge govt, cradle to grave, the govt needs to do everything for everybody) vs Conservatives (small govt, personal responsibility, Constitutional sanctity). Until we realize this, the mess can't be fixed. As far as the D vs R battle...McCain and Lindsey Graham, both Rs are as Progressive as most anybody, and Gene Taylor, a D, is a conservative Dem.

Both sides do this....Do you know that on the Sunday talk shows, the reps from the Administration used this exact phrase 26 times (on six different shows and six different Admin surrogates) concernig the oil spill, and I quote "The Adminstration has been on this since Day 1"....26 times and many in which it wasn't even addressing the question being asked???
