There is now a $100,000 reward offered for anyone producing video or audio evidence that any of the demonstrators said ANYTHING racist...Some, I'm sure will be certain that this video is "doctored". My question has always been this.... Where were the tea parties when bush was spending out of control? because he was a conservative white dude spending on wars it was ok? Seriously , these tea baggers are just conservative loons who listen to rush, palin and hannity... Grass roots... lol

they're a little nuts. I went to a rally last night close to my house to see what they were all ranting about. They said they expected anywhere from 5000-7000 people there. I estimate there were around 1000 to 1500 max there, but local right wing radio is inflating the numbers. The majority of the people I saw were crazy rednecks, and that's the truth, I'm not trying to be an asshole. Maybe there's more necks here because I live in Birmingham, but I believe the tea party has run its coures. I will admit that last years tea party at the same location had upwards to 5000 people there, but I think the tea party has gone so far right that its scaring off moderates. they will not be around much longer.

Marginalizing them is another tactic that makes the left feel better. When the elections roll around, the tea party movement will be a factor, just like it was in Massachusetts.

Flare, the people I saw the other night were red necks. I've seen a lot of them in my day, and they were out in full force the other night. Now, there was a handful of normal looking people there; I'd say 200 out of the 1000 were normal, but the rest were older white people screaming about higher taxes and the economy. the reality is that taxs have gone down for 98% of Americans, and I think the dow is around 11000 right now. Looks like that hopie changie thing is working out just right. Wow, Obama's a socialist, but the dow is the at the highest point its been at in a while. Reality hurts for people on the right. You lost the election, get over it, and do your party a favor and regroup.
