i don't watch MSNBC a lot, but I was passing by the channel and I caught the following video showing the messages Stupak was getting from people in his district. I wirte my Rep( Spencer Bachus) all the time, but I have never cursed or threatened him in any way. You would be amazed what happens when you write a letter to your repersentatives-they actually write you back or call you; people just don't do it enough. These tea party people are dangerous and I am an advocate for free speech, but I believe they are going to act out violently soon. People like that are terrorist in my book and should go to jail. The Pub party that I was a part of for a time being have totally left my views and I no longer agree with the direction the leaders in the party are taking now. They are extremist that only cater to the far right of the party and IMO it will be the end of the GOP soon enough. Pubs need to distance themselves from these people.

Sparks, I thank you for posting links-we all should start doing that. Krauthammer is one of the worst of the worst though- he brought Harriet Miers down all by himself, for no other reason other than he didn't like her. I'm not saying I thought Miers was the best candidate but he went way over the top and got her out of the race using draconian tactics that would even make John Ashcroft look like a nice guy. Bush wanted a woman and the conservativie SC justice pool wasn't that big at the time for conservative women from the early 1970's; I mean there were not a lot of conservative women going to law school at that time in our country. Although I think she wasn't a good candidate, they really didn't have a big pool to choose from; and he wanted to put a woman on the court to replace O'Connor.
