The "fat" comment has always been laughable to me. I understand people hate Rush and that is why they say it, but I thought libs were supposd to be better than that? Open minded, accepting of all people. It is the Republicans that are the evil white guys that all intolerant of other's lifestyles. I thought libs thought everyone was a victim? Shouldn't they feel that being fat or a addicted to drugs isn't Rush's fault?

You people just don't understand how media works if you get fired up over guys like Rush. He isn't a news reporter, he is a commentator. He says things like this to get a reaction. Stuff like this and you people hating him just drives ratings. He is no different than guys like Howard Stern, a lot of what they do is put on as an act.

You can say what you want about the guy, but he is brilliant at what he does. That's not an opinion, but a fact based on what he is paid and what his advertisers pay to be on the show. You don't have to like or agree with him, but the guy is brilliant at what he does. Just like I don't care for Bill Clinton as a politician, but dude is brilliant at what he does.

I'm sure like most smart Americans, a lot of them are conservatives no matter what side they're on. I'm also sure that even though they are conservative, they think George Bush was a horrible President and they are glad Obama is in there, at least for now.

I can agree with you that there are true conservatives that think George Bush was a horrible president. However, I don't see any how any true conservative could be glad Obama is in there. Obama is the exact opposite of almost everything a true conservative stands for.
