For all you who think Warren buffet is this god and one amazing trader which he does no wrong, well please read this article that i have been looking for recently and finally found it. I've been reading all these members here praise warren and i almost threw up listening to the b.s that has been said...He's in the same boat as Goldman Sachs and the helicopter ben. b....


Barry Ritholz was voted the #1 finanical blog this past week and he's dead on with his facts, screw warren and G.S...

Warren Buffet is old school and is going to retire before long. Of course he count say he didn't know what he was doing as he became filthy rich trading stocks, buying companies etc.

People here praised him, me included, because he had the balls to come out and say he does NOT pay the same share percentage wise of taxes that his secretary does, and that's what's wrong with the tax system in this country. I still applaud that sentiment.

And after reading that story you posted, most of the comments to the blogger were in support of Buffet who is one that at the end of the day, will still do what's best for investors.

I don't understand what balls he has coming out and saying that he doesn't pay the same tax % wise of his secretary does, nothing will change....if that's the case then why doesn't he give his secretary a raise? Why doesn't he change the way he gets taxed. It's the same shit, his taxes will never change and that's why he comes out and says it. I'm not going mock him for saying it. Fact is, he didn't have to say it at all. He gained nothing from it. His secretary makes $60k per year. The fact that someone in his stature comes out and says it, gives more validity and impetus to lawmakers when they increase the tax on the wealthiest taxpayers in this country. You chose to see a bad side, I chose to see the good. He's no saint, but I don't think he needs to be vilified.
