You're right, I don't know his family, I could see how he could take it personally if I did know them. Just as he doesn't know the people who file lawsuits.... Again, do you have anything to say about the issue or do you just want to attack the messenger.?

3. To call or invoke upon: I wish them luck.
4. To order or entreat: I wish you to go.
5. To impose or force; foist: They wished a hard job on her.
v.intr.
1. To have or feel a desire: wish for the moon.
2. To express a wish.
IMO, you are a POS for not apologizing for that comment, and then to hide behind PC and say "don't attack the messenger". There were 100's of ways to make your point. ie "God forbid something happens to someone you love, maybe your opinion on tort reform would be different". But to "WISH" for something to happen to someone's fucking CHILD is sick.
Maybe I should "wish" your dick falls off to cancer so I can make a comment on healthcare. Or maybe I can "wish" you get hit by a bus and claim to be making a statement about public transportation.
Poor choice of words and shows a sick mind.

Just like back in the early 90's on page 1 of most papers was the lady who spilled coffee and McDonald's and got 3rd degree burns on her. She got like $1 million or $1.3 million judgement. However, what the media failed to show was later through the appeals court she ended up getting like $100k then you have to take off her attorney fee's etc. The media put this on page 10 in a small space because it wasn't as newsworthy.
There already is Tort Reform on punitive damages. And if you're referring to the Tort Reform that the Republicans want for Medical Malpractice Obama already addressed that issue. It's like $5 billion a year and health care is over $1 trillion a year so its has very little to do with the cost of health care.
