Harold, the teleprompter thing is a joke. Everyone uses one during certain speeches. As for my success, I'm content at where I am in my life. I did not choose the path of being in politics. I've been there, and didn't like it. I know that I've helped a lot of young people already in my life, and hope to continue to help them for the rest of my life.

Do certain speeches mean 6th graders? Obviously the long important speeches with lots of details require a teleprompter.

As far as what you do, I'm glad to hear you are doing well. My point wasn't as much about you, but about how silly it is to call these people idiots. You don't become a governor, senator, representative, president, vice president, etc by being an idiot. If you, me, or most anyone choose to pursue politics the odds are very long to rise to the level she has.

grandmama, you will have to point out where I said anything about Palin being qualified to be President. I do not think she is qualified to be President. I also don't think Obama is any more qualified to be President than Palin is. A junior state Senator that never held a meaningful job in his life (prior to being a state Senator) is not qualified to be President and it is showing.

Again, I'm not a supporter of Palin myself, my only point is it is silly to say she is an idiot.

And unlike you guys down there in georgia I dont refer to different background as them and us. Here in illinois where a hispanic american has a chance to become governor or president with the support of our state not just based on his skin color but because we try to judge people on the content of their character not the color of their skin.

How ironic is it that someone who lives in a state where people of different ethnicities and different backgrounds had dogs sicked on them, churches burnt to the ground were refused service at lunch counters, innocent children killed because they wanted to worship God. The numbers speak for themselves -- a large portion of GOP voters think that President Obama is racist, socialist or a non-US citizen -- though, when considering them, it is important to note that a disproportionate percentage of respondents are from GOP strongholds in the South (42 percent) as opposed to the Northeast (11 percent). Also note that this is a poll of self-identified Republicans, which means that independent Tea Party types are not included.

Nevertheless here are some of the standout:
1) 39 percent of Republicans believe Obama should be impeached, 29 percent are not sure, 32 percent said he should not be voted out of office
2) 36 percent of Republicans believe Obama was not born in the United States, 22 percent are not sure, 42 percent think he is a natural citizen.

3) 31 percent of Republicans believe Obama is a "Racist who hates White people" -- the description once adopted by Fox News's Glenn Beck. 33 percent were not sure, and 36 percent said he was not a racist.

4) 63 percent of Republicans think Obama is a socialist, 16 percent are not sure, 21 percent say he is not.

5) 24 percent of Republicans believe Obama wants "the terrorists to win," 33 percent aren't sure, 43 percent said he did not want the terrorist to win.

Again, if one gets 90% of their news from the television means that person is not reading newspapers or other forms of print. TV news is slowing killing this country. The fact that 63% of people in the poll thinks that Obama is a socialist sickens me. if people really think he's a socialist means that the really have no idea what they're talking about. he's a long way away from being a socialist. i bet the majority of them do not even know the meaning of the word.
