  • Maddow Calls Out Individual Republicans For Hypocrisy On Stimulus Spending (VIDEO)

On the heels of a Washington Times report detailing how Republicans have railed publicly against the stimulus package while working privately to direct stimulus funds towards their home states and districts, Rachel Maddow has compiled her own list of GOP senators and congressmen guilty of such double-dealing.

Maddow argues that this is yet more evidence that the GOP is uninterested in productive policy and only concerned with tearing down the Obama administration.

So obvious. They'd rather the country fail than succeed under Obama. Politics have really come to that, and it's terrible.

It's because they fear him so much and what he's trying to do too better our Country. Just like on Universal Health Care which the republicans kept from happening. The health care bill that they are looking to pass has no pre-existing condition clause, but it doesn't start until like 2014 or 2019 and Obama won't even be in office then so they will just throw it out.

Other then a petty child-like tantrum to have one amendment read in it's entirety (that would have NEVER passed), how exactly did the Repubs keep HC happening? Supermajorities in both Houses, and the WH. There was not ONE single Repub voted needed to pass what they wanted. It was the Dem party who was split and votes were needed to be bought off. (Nelson,Landrieu) And they can still pass with themake up of the House and Senate w/o Repubs. SO how is it the Repub party's fault again?

On responding to the original post, I think she should keep doing it. Both sides should be pointed out in their hypocrisy. She started the call out on last night's show I seem to recall, and followed up tonight. Sunshine is the best disinfectant, and to me, it applies to everyone.

If you don't know the answers to the questions you asked me then I consider you beyond help.

The point of the video is Republicans are trying to keep anything from passing. They hate the Obama administration because they fear what he's trying to do.

Actually I think it sadly is you who don't have an answer. I've already stated that not ONE Repub vote was needed to pass ANYTHING the Dem party wanted. But you don't seem to have a reply for that.

And the point of the video was to point out hypocrisy. Voting against the Stimulus plan while promoting it back home. I watched it live both last night and tonight. I don't need Google searches or YouTube.

Mensa university in session. It doesnt matter one way or another with people who cant be objective. This crew didnt vote for obama, hate obama and will oppose anything that obama supports.

THE BRAIN TRUST FAILS TO REALIZE THE PAST REPUBLICAN ADMINISTRATION HAS TAGGED THIS COUNTRY WITH THE HIGHEST DEFECIT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES. The mensa's wont admit to this though.

Doesnt matter though because they defend stupid policies, stupid people(sarah palin>>>>>see her idiot notes written on her hand)and they still believe that obama is not a united states citizen and he is muslim.

                  objectivity at its best.

Listen I get it that Republicans don't like Obama. However, listen to this video and you will see as BW said the Republicans would rather see the Country fail under Obama rather than see it excel.
