I was in the military then I worked for $10 an hour at a few jobs. Now I make $20 and live in a nice house with my wife and kids that I'm currently able to pay for because I got a good job by working hard. Most of the people around where I live work their butts off to make ends meet. Most are self employed or work for small companies. They work hard in order to have a good life. So they have it. You seem to think that everyone HAS to be worse off than before. It's simply not true. Period...
