In one year...He's passed the largest stimulus package in US history along with the largest tax cut in US history. Larger than the Bush or Reagan tax cuts.

He's going to get passed the first health care package in US history, for better or worse. It needs to start somewhere, and millions of uninsured are like millions of uninsured motorists, it's just a burden on the tax payers.

He's implemented an Iraq troop withdrawal timetable and diverting troops to a more important Afghanistan.

Now, I'd like for you to pinpoint why he had to have a stimulus package in the first place, that was the largest ever and an Iraq troop withdrawal? And be specific. And exactly what did Bush do positively for the country during his tenure?

5 bucks a week? Wasn't Michelle Obama even busting on this when others did it? What exactly has the stimulus bill done positively? Regardless of % already spent. It was supposed to keep unemployment below 8%.

Car insurance is state law you know. Odd to compare a fed law with a state one. (And I will agrue stupidly like you. Why don't you put the costs of illegal immigrants and their health care costs in your answer. See how stupidly you argue?) And if you are going to count hypotheticals, MAYBE he is going to cure cancer.

He's implemented an Iraq troop withdrawal timetable and diverting troops to a more important Afghanistan.

With timetables for an Afghan withdrawal too right?

He had a stimulus package to give all his Dems an early Christmas gift for everything they have ever wanted. So no, it wasn't needed imo as it hasn't helped. And I've already posted some positives during the Bush Presidency, I just think you are too blind or odd to read them.

And you are OK if it's for the worse??? Isn't providing health care for all illegal aliens a burden on tax payers as well???

Dems passed laws making emergency room coverage mandatory for ALL. Don't you think it would be better if these law-abiding illegal aliens now paid for their own coverage since they will go right out and sign up for it? I mean it makes sense to now pay for something you get for free. You are just a lily-white, racist, homophobe, who lives in a trailer south of the Mason-Dixon line with no teeth while playing in your country-club with all your white friends. Illegal aliens add value to the American economy b/c we have cheap fruit and drywall, w/o taking anything out of the economy. They also do jobs that the millions of unemployed Americans won't do. You are afraid of anyone of color;especially our President. Deal with it.

That's a complicated answer Phil. And honestly, I don't have time to give it a full response so I'll give my Reader's ****** version. I have answered this before on here, and I believe illegals without insurance are more of a burden than they would be if they had insurance. Legally, emergency rooms have to provide health care whether you are insured or not. Where I live our emergency rooms are filled to the max with uninsured people. It's very difficult to get looked at in a timely manner. If an uninsured illegal gets injured on the job, and there are a lot who work for a living in this country, who do you think foots bill when they are injured? Tax payer.

And I personally think it's worse to have millions without insurance, who don't get proper care when needed or screening regularly, and end up getting sicker, which in turn is much worse for tax payers and individuals who can't afford medical treatment.

bush kept the country safe after 9/11. i don't think many people would have thought there wouldn't have been another attack here in a open/free society after 9/11. THAT, is the most important thing a president could have done in his shoes.
speaking for myself, my family is much better off at the end of bush's term than the beginning.

US death toll in Iraq is over 4,300. Would you care to explain to the families of the those soldiers how safe their children are now?

And how can anyone argue with someone who thinks they are better off at the end of Bush's term than at the beginning?
That's about as delusional as I've heard on here.

Why was it Obama needed to have a stimulus package passed to revive our economy? Maybe because Bush mishandled this country worse than any president has before him.

my post said "attack HERE", and "speaking for myself, my family is much better off" (maybe he knows MY life better than i do. what a clown). no response to the madicare/medicade question, or the shifting of troops.

Every conflict has casualties. Believe it or not the Iraq war has had a surprisingly LOW number of deaths for the amount of time we have been in conflict. That will never replace a single life. However as a vet myself I can tell you that when people speak for us and our families we tend to not like it. Every person who died has a different story.

I think certain people can argue that their life is better after Bush's terms. Personally I've grown personally and financially throughout his terms. Though it's anecdotal I can say that I'm much better off. Are most others??? I dont really know. I keep hearing how terrible it is and yet where I live there hasnt been much sign.

Even though I also think Bush made a bloody mess of things I'm also a person who believes that the economy has ebbs and flows and that the best thing that can happen is simply for government to get out of our way and allow us to grow out of this. Spending our money is not going to help us. Overwhelming debt never helps anyone.

                                Have a nice day Kaz
